Hip Hop & Commercial Street Dance
Hip Hop and Commercial Street Dance is a style commonly seen in pop videos and on TV. It also covers various other styles including breaking, popping, locking and house.
Street dance itself originates from the 1970s when people would dance anywhere outside such as a street, a park or a party. It was originally when people would improvise in an informal space and had a sense of freedom. As it has evolved over the years people have wanted to learn this style and Commercial Street has become a genre in its own right in dance studios.
This fun style is very energetic and fun to learn and great to help boost confidence and increase fitness levels.
