Welcome to Excel Performing Arts.
We are an established dance school based in London Colney, St Albans, offering high-quality dance classes for children and young people aged 3 – 18+ years. Whilst dance is at our core, we also offer drama and singing lessons for those students who wish to develop skills across all three disciplines.
Our aim is to provide a fun, friendly, and supportive environment and to be a place where creativity thrives, confidence grows, and talent is nurtured.
Founded in 2009, Excel Performing Arts is led by West End and television actor Steven Houghton and former professional dancer Sam Payton. Alongside a passionate and experienced team of exceptional teachers, we are all dedicated to inspiring the next generation of performers.
At Excel Performing Arts, we offer a comprehensive timetable of classes including Ballet, Tap, Street Jazz, Hip Hop & Commercial Street, Contemporary Dance, Drama, Performance Technique, and private singing lessons.
We are registered with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and able to offer optional Ofqual regulated examinations and qualifications.
All classes are run Monday to Saturday during term time at Bowmansgreen School, Telford Road, London Colney, St Albans.
