Recently we caught up with some previous Excel students who are all studying further in Arts related subjects at college or university.

Aidan is studying drama at ‘East 15’; Carys is doing a BA honours degree in theatre production at Guilford School of Acting; Grace is doing a BA Honours degree in Dance Performance at Middlesex University; Annalia is doing a BA honours degree in Contemporary Dance at The Place; and Amy is doing a BA Hons degree in professional dance and musical theatre at The Urdang Academy.

We asked them how their first or second year has gone? Has the course lived up to their expectations? What is a typical day at college/university like? What skills did they learn at Excel that has helped them at college? What is their dream job? And what advice could they give to younger Excel students who might be thinking of a career within the Arts.

We got some really interesting answers and can’t wait to share them with you all.
