This week tickets for Excel’s annual show ‘Excelmazing’ went on sale and within in no time it sold out! Even for Excel’s standards that was fast and we think it holds the record for the fastest selling Excel show EVER!

We are so excited that the students will get to perform to packed audiences on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May 2023 at the Sandpit Theatre. We have a wonderful show lined up and if you are one of the lucky people to have a ticket, you are in for a treat.

If you have a child in the show and have been unable to get tickets please contact the Sandpit Theatre as there are over 100 tickets that are held back for this very reason.

It is wonderful news to start the beginning of show term after our Easter break. We have three weeks until our technical rehearsal at the Sandpit Theatre and everyone is working hard in classes putting the finishing touches to choreography. We are busy giving out the costumes, designing the lights, sorting out special effects and making sure we have all the props.

We have 180 students in the show ranging from three years old all the way up to eighteen. For some it is their very first show with Excel and for others it is their eleventh. We try our very best to make it a special experience for everyone who takes part and it is a time when the best memories are made. To perform on a stage with your friends in front of an audience is such an exciting special time and we cannot wait!
