As this term draws to an end there are some Excel students who we sadly have to say goodbye to as they leave Excel to go on to study at college or university in September. We are always very proud of students whatever they decide to go on to do, but when we learn that we have passed our passion for performing arts onto our students who want to go on to train further to have a career within the industry, we feel especially honoured that we have played a little part in inspiring them.

So massive good luck to the following students:

Grace – off to study on the BA (Hons) degree course in ‘Dance and Performance’ at Middlesex University;

Carys – off to study on the BA (Hons) degree course in ‘Theatre Production’ at Guilford School Of Acting;

Aidan – off to study on the foundation acting course at ‘East 15 Acting School’, Southend Campus

Gabriela – off to work as a teaching assistant in Dance and English at a school in Spain

Also a couple of other previous long time excel students who have kept strong links with Excel as they have been studying performing arts full time at 6th form school and at foundation level:

Amy – off to study for BA (Hons) in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre at Urdang Academy

Melissa – off to study for BA (Hons) in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre at Performers college

We will miss these students terribly but wish them the very best of luck and look forward to hearing about their adventures and following their careers.
