Christmas always starts early at Excel! Here is a sneaky peak at some of the hard work going on in the Performance classes this week as the students rehearse their Christmas show pieces. 

There are three Performance classes at Excel, 8-11yrs, 11-14yrs and 14-18yrs and one thing all the students have in common is lots of enthusiasm and an absolute love for dancing and performing. Students need to be doing Street Jazz and one other Excel class to qualify for this exciting and challenging class. The Performance students learn a repertoire of choreographed show pieces that they will go on to perform at various events and represent Excel Performing Arts.

We are ALL very excited to be rehearsing for actual performances this year after no performances last year due to Covid. These Christmas performances will be the first time our students have an an opportunity to perform in front of an audience in almost two years, so it is going to be very special.
