It is #throwbackthursday time and week four of our January series ‘Excel Show Favourites!’
We had lots of you voting for your favourite Excel number this week. So, it is with great excitement that we let you know that the BRILLIANT tap dancing number – ‘42nd Street’ from the 2019 show ‘Exceltastic’ won the most votes in the end.
This epic piece closed the show in 2019 and was performed by the intermediate tap students. The fantastic tap dancing choreography challenged the students and allowed them to really show off their level of skill.
Along with the special effects, sparkly costumes and the Sandpit Theatre’s fantastic lighting design, this dazzling showstopper of a number will be remembered for many years to come.
So here it is……the full ‘42nd Street’ number in all it’s glory from start to finish.
